COME JOIN OUR TEAM...... We are currently looking for a Warehouse Stock Keeper (Forklift) at our Bradley Steel Processors - Winnipeg, MB facility.
Job summary:
Reporting to the location's Supervisor, your focus will be to perform a wide variety of material moving and stocking duties.
Our ideal candidate will be able to:
- Work the following weekend shift with a starting hourly rate of $24.32:
- 13 hour shift: Friday - Sunday
- Days 7:00 am- 8:00 pm (paid 1 hour break which includes coffee breaks too)
- Provide us with a criminal background check by uploading it in "attachment documents" when uploading resume or at time of interview
- Work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with extremely hot materials while wearing required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
Primary duties and responsibilities:
- Safely operate forklift equipment
- Move bundles from and to different areas for production
- Move end plates, supplies and other items for operations as needed
- Dump slugs, offcut bins, etc. in outside scrap bins as needed
- Follow production plan and keep up with production pace
- Assist in scrap handling and recording as needed
- May perform other duties as supervisor deems necessary
Education / experience requirements:
- Minimum Grade 12 diploma (or GED)
- Minimum 1-2 years of working experience as a forklift driver and have a valid forklift license
- Ability to read, write and follow schedules
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Physically capable of performing the role
- Ability to work in a team environment
Working Conditions:
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- 39 hour work week
- Be able to work in both indoor and outdoor environments
- Fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Frequent standing, bending, walking and stretching
- Physically demanding and able to lift light and heavy materials
- Noisy working area
- Hot and humid conditions during the summer and cold conditions in the winter
