Coordinate Quality aspects of a production area including claim and loss analysis and reporting, calibration of equipment, quality tests confirmation and document control.

This is a night shift position 7pm-7am with a rotating 2 week schedule.  1st week: work Sunday-Monday; off Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday; work Friday-Saturday.  2nd week: off Sunday, Monday; work Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday.

 

Ability to work in a fast pace production environment focused on safety and have proficiency in computer software applications including Microsoft Office programs
Responsible for daily quality routine of checking production schedule, auditing product quality and approve test results.
The Quality Coordinator will be required to analyze the data from collection samples and identify anomalies and inconsistencies in product quality based on the data. The individual is accountable for identifying appropriate corrective measures and necessary escalation to the Routine Facilitator and/or Quality Assurance Manager based on analysis. 
Responsible for his/her safety as well as his/her colleagues, seeking continuous improvement related to employee’s health and safety, environment and process efficiency and customer’s satisfaction with the quality of products and services. All efforts must be directed for preventive actions.

 

Required:

Ability to work night shift 7pm-7am with a rotating work week including weekends
Minimum of 2 years experience in industrial environment
Technical Degree with a preference in Metallurgy or Engineering or similar preferred.
SAP experience is a plus
