WHAT GERDAU HAS TO OFFER:

• Hourly Rate: $28.80/hr

WHAT THE JOB ENTAILS:

• Position: General Labourer (referred to internally as "Non-Posted Entry")
• Department: All Departments 
• Primary Function: To fill vacancies at the entry level positions 
  • Trains in the entry level positions in all Lines of Progression.
  • Assists in all Lines of Progression within the department as required.
  • Keeps work area clean.
  • Observes all safety rules.

WHAT YOU HAVE:

• Ability to work 12-hour rotating continental shifts (days & nights)
• Must have a high school diploma/GED
• Must be able to work in a team environment and communicate effectively
• Must have good attendance and work ethic
• Must be physically able to perform in a labour intensive environment
• Must have 1 - 3 years of Heavy Industrial or Manufacturing

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

• Background, education, and criminal record checks will be performed.
• All successful candidates must pass a post-offer medical and ergonomic assessment.
