Summary of the opportunity:

 

You will be responsible for the sustainability of ZBB at the corporate office which includes detailed analysis, goal setting, and policy/process communication to the field.  This position will maintain the standard global documents referenced across GLN and facilitate any updates as business needs warrant.  This position is also responsible for supporting the Corporate Cost Managers and their committees.  These committees meet periodically to develop best practices and discuss implementation of best practices across GLN.  This position assists in the creation of action plans, periodic analysis of targets vs. performance, and participates in the reporting to Operational Vps.

 

What you will do:

 

ZBB Process - Overall GLN

Validate all assessments and trainings developed related to the ZBB Process;

Act as the guardian of the ZBB methodology in GLN;

Approve and provide all resources for the GLN Process;

Validate scope of the GLN Process and possible cost drivers with Controllers;

Support the Controllers in the review and validation of the ZBB matrix structure;

Perform periodic evaluations of the development and quality of 3G reports (samples);

Develop with the ZBB Product Line Managers the semi-annual/annual assessments of the ZBB Process at GLN;

Validate all information and changes to the ZBB Process throughout GLN;

Communicate all information and changes to the ZBB Process throughout GLN;

Communicate new GLN policies and standards that affect the ZBB Process throughout GLN;

Coordinate any changes or improvements to the ZBB tools with the GLN BI team;

Communicate changes or improvements to the  ZBB tools throughout GLN;

Communicate the monthly updates to the ZBB follow-up tool to the Controllers;

Support Corporate Accounting in the maintenance and updates of the Chart of Accounts document;

Elaborate the Corporate ZBB follow up calendar in accordance to Corporate deadlines;

Ensure that the control meetings are happening as planned in all levels;

Elaborate, communicate and implement all corporate guidelines, standards and policies related to the ZBB Process and accounts;

Contribute with solutions to potential problems related to the ZBB process.

 

ZBB Process - Corporate Office

Conduct the semi-annual/annual assessments of the ZBB Process at the Corporate Office;

Communicate the results of the semi-annual/annual assessments of the ZBB Process at the Corporate Office to the Corporate Controller;

Support the Corporate Controller in the validation of the Account Specialists at the Corporate Office;

Periodically check the effectiveness of all parties involved in the ZBB Process at the Corporate Office;

Implement the capacitation process (develop and conduct trainings) of ZBB parties at the Corporate Office.

 

ZBB Process - Corporate Cost Committees

Support Ops VPs in the definition of the Corporate Cost Managers and committees;

Support Management System Coordinators in the capacitation process (develop and conduct trainings) of the Corporate Cost Managers;

Support the Corporate Cost Managers in developing their committees annual action plans;

Support the Corporate Cost Managers in implementing their committees annual action plans;

Develop and conduct semi-annual/annual assessments of the Corporate Cost Committees;

Communicate the results of the semi-annual/annual assessments of the Corporate Cost Committees to the CCMs and Ops VPs;

Periodically check the effectiveness of all Corporate Cost Managers and committee members;

Propose improvements to the Corporate Cost Committees' structure and support the CCMs in implementing them;

Communicate all information and changes to the Corporate Cost Committees structure throughout GLN;

Support the Corporate Cost Committee Managers in analyzing the negotiated goals for their respective Committees;

Support the Corporate Cost Managers in performing periodic analysis of the mills' action plans status for their Group of Accounts;

Support the Committee members in performing periodic analysis of the mills' compliance to the Chart of Accounts;

Support the Corporate Cost Committee Managers in the monthly report of their respective committee status/results to the Ops VPs;

Participate in the periodic meetings between the Corporate Cost Managers and Ops VPs;

Guarantee that the Corporate Cost Committees goals are being reached.

 

You have:

 

Minimum Requirements:

6 to 8 years of financial & operational experience in a related industry

Bachelor degree from an accredited university

2 years experience managing remote employees

Relevant change management experience

Proficient in Microsoft Office and PowerBI

Estimated 30-40% travel schedule

 

Preferred Requirements:

Financial analysis experience

Project management experience
