The Hybris Developer will be a member of the Digital Factory team with a key emphasis on providing development support and maintenance across the organizations Digital Experience Platform powered by SAP eCommerce (Hybris). The person filling this role should be a senior level applicant with good understanding of Hybris end to end solution implementation, Experience in Hybris Development, Requirement Analysis, Design and Reviews, Client Interfacing and Hybris Support Projects Experience in implementation of B2B/B2C projects and integration with end systems. This person should have strong written and oral communication with solid knowledge on Hybris architecture.

 

Primary responsibility of the candidate will be to design, develop and maintain our e-commerce stack. Thus, a commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and product quality is essential. Key focus of this role will be development and integration with our shared services including modification and optimization of code.

 

The successful candidate should have:

  • 6+ years of software development experience with full end-to-end Hybris implementations/projects..
  • Bachelor or Master degree in IT Engineering, Computer Science, Applied Sciences or related discipline
  • Working experience in Java programming and related frameworks, such as Servlets, Spring, EJBs, JPA, Hibernate.
  • Knowledge on Hybris ORM, WCMS, OCC, Business Process, DataHub, Backoffice, Smart Edit, Rule engine and core concepts.
  • Understanding of web service technologies such as REST, JSON, SOAP, HTTP, SSL, SAML, WSDL.
  • Knowledge of the SOLR search engine.
  • Working experience in SQL and NoSQL DBs
  • Knowledge of Design patterns.
  • Background in design and development of micro services
  • Strong knowledge of concurrency, scalability and fault tolerant designs
  • Solid knowledge of application performance improvement techniques and caching solutions.
  • Understanding of Multithreaded applications and Java internals / Java Tuning Performance;
  • Be familiar with Version Control Systems (i.e. SVN/Git), Project/Task Management Systems (i.e. Jira), Build Servers and Continuous Integration (i.e. gitlab CI/CD), Artifacts Repository Systems (i.e. Nexus), Maven and Ant;

  • Knowledge of automated testing frameworks (JUnit, TestNG,) is a plus;
