Gerdau is looking for a Data Analyst who is passionate about data and how it can impact on people’s lives.

You can be a part of our team, who are working to simplify and transform the People Area providing many data analysis and automating processes.

People is the core of our business and data is key to shape the company’s success. You will be a Data Analyst focused on the People Area, bringing your data analytics knowledge and expertise to transform our data collection and bring powerful insights related to our employees. Also you will help the People Area on automating processes that will help the area to focus on implementing the strategy and leverage the culture.

      • Bachelor's degree in information systems, computer science, or a quantitative discipline such as mathematics, engineering, operations research, economics or finance.
      • 3+ years’ experience of data analytics experience, including database analysis, reporting, and data mining
      • Strong Experience with Microsoft Power BI and Microsoft Excel.  
      • Experience with UiPath, Microsoft Power Automation or AWS are a huge plus
      • Knowledge of multiple database engines (MySQL, Redshift, DynamoDB, etc.)
      • Ability to develop Excel VBAs are a huge plus
      • Knowledge of User Experience
      • Strong attention to detail and the ability to successfully manage multiple competing tasks and priorities



      • The primary responsibilities of this role is to build and manage reports and analytics using Power BI and Microsoft Office Tools. Experience with other BI Analytic tools are a plus.
      • Collaborate directly our People Area Team and other areas to translate business requirements into useful analytic reports, dashboards and KPIs
      • Collaborate directly our People Area Team to map and automate processes using RPAs (Ui Path and/or Power Automate)
      • Work with a data-centric platform in capturing, transforming, and ingesting large volumes of data from multiple sources
      • Help architect and plan for changes and enhancements to products in a proactive fashion
      • Managing several different data set-including creation, updates, and deletion
      • Supporting initiatives for data integrity and normalization
      • Generating reports from single or multiple systems
  • Responsible to update and support BI reports already created such as HR Analytics, Employee Analytics and Diversity Analytics
  • Develop user-friendly dashboards to support client needs
  • Conduct ad hoc analyses and routine validations
  • Partner and work in collaboration with many other areas such as Payroll, Benefits, Recruiting, Career, Training and Development, etc. on company-wide initiatives and multi-area projects
  • Develop and deliver training to HRBPs, managers, and associates
  • Participate in additional projects and special projects as required
  • Drive high quality, low error results by creating automated audit capabilities with alerts
  • Strong inclination for creativity and building innovative technology
