BASIC FUNCTION:

 

 

The role of this position is to be a technical leader and manage several technical aspects in the Sales area as they relate to Customer Fulfillment and Business Analytics.  The position is responsible for, but not limited to the following: Transfer Process Management and Execution, Business Report Mangement, Billet Sales Execution, and Customer Order Fulfillment.

 

The incumbent will use reporting and automation to execute Sales and Fulfillment duties as well as manage the reporting for the sales area.  The person will also perform order management to fulfill billet sales, and operate as a technical leader for the fulfillment of customer orders.  The desired candidate must have a good understanding of inventory management and order fulfillment methodologies as well as a solid background in data analytics and report building.  Additionally, the candidate must have effective time management skills as he/she will also be an area technical leader for the sales area. 

 

The master data requirements for this position include managing the data required for the following: Auto Delivery/Auto Shipment programs, internal transfers execution and internal transfers pricing. will also perform routine and non-routine analysis in different formats to bring light to trends and opportunities within the organization as well as other duties as assigned.  From a transactional data perspective this also includes but is not limited to managing sales orders, transfer orders and safety stocks.

 

NATURE AND SCOPE:

 

The Fulfillment Specialist has a key role in the fulfillment of our customer requirements as well as the management of our company’s resources and business intelligence for the department.  Another key aspect of the position is to accompany the master data team in establishing the guiledlines and also work to monitor the health of the master data.

 

The Fulfillment Specialist will support the fulfilment managers to aide in the preparation and provide contributions in the fuilfillment meetings.  The ability to work under minimal supervision, plan activities and execute them effectively is required. Analytical and logical thinking skills and the ability to learn fast is crucial for good performance on the job. Must be proficient in Excel, PowerPoint and Access.

 

Candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain or related field. Master’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Research, or related field preferred.  One to three years of supply chain management experience required and at least one year of experience with SAP APO. Knowledge of SAP ECC, Sales and Distribution (SD) modules, specifically Order promising functionality is desired.

 

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:

 

  1. Manage transfers to the following locations
  1. Downstream Rail Group (3 locations)
  2. Duluth grinding ball (1 location)
  3. Mill to Mill transfers (5 to 10 lanes)
  1. Manage external orders for Billet Sales
  2. Manage Auto Delivery and Auto Shipment Master Data
  3. Update, Track and Manage Auto Pricing for Transfers
  4. Manage Reporting for the department
  1. Update and Populate Fulfillment Reports
  2. Generate new reports as needed
  3. Manage roles in PowerBi
  4. Perform Routine and Non-Routine Analyses
  1. Manage Master Data for Transfers
  2. Work with Sales on Order Fulfillment issues
  3. Process Chain setup and management
  4. Other duties as assigned
