Basic Function:

Support the Sales & Marketing organization through Procedural and Developmental training. Executed via simplification, stabilization, improvement and/or innovation of routines and processes, aiming to achieve superior results within the Commercial Strategy. Provide expertise in System Functions and Routine Processes by establishing/maintaining Training program standards throughout Sales & Marketing and being a Subject Matter Expert in critical systems utilized by the organization.

Description of duty/responsibility

Procedural - Oversees training and awareness initiatives to build organizational capability and maintain a culture of continuous quality improvement through development & maintenance of training materials. Conducting training & coaching. Sharing expertise on processes and tools to support employees' and business' development.

Developemental -  Supports opportunities to improve departmental performance through SMEs in development of selling skills, customer relationship management, strategic planning, and soft skills. Working with leaders and teams to to determine gaps and/or opportunities for improvements and identifying best practices.

Projects - Lead, participate or support critical projects for department, such as the deployment of tools, systems and software.

ISO - Responsible for the preparation and execution of ISO audit processes for department, including internal audits, gap analyses, documentation management, and certification readiness to ensure compliance with ISO standards. Oversees training and awareness initiatives to build organizational capability and maintain a culture of continuous quality improvement.

Communication - Participation in various meetings with Marketing, Sales, S&OP (Sales & Operations Planning), Operations, Fulfillment and as needed.

 

Scope:

This position is responsible Training, Process and Project support within the Sales & Marketing Department. This position requires knowledge of the products, basic understanding of the supply chain and how Sales & Maketing work together with other departments to meet the customer’s needs. 

 

Qualifications and Educational requirement(s):

4 Year College degree (or equivalent work experience) with a minimum of 4 years Sales, Marketing, Customer Service or related experience

 

Experience in customer service, leadership, coaching & team development, Process improvement & development, within manufacturing industry, procurement, logistics, fulfillment and/or sales preferred or any combination of experience in related areas. Familiarity with LMS platforms, CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce), presentation tools (e.g., PowerPoint, MS Teams), and project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello)

 

Skills & Abilities: 

  • Understanding of customer service techniques, commercial strategies, and processes
  • Ability to deliver engaging and effective training sessions, both in-person and virtually
  • Strong verbal and written communication to clearly convey concepts and motivate learners
  • Experience designing training materials, modules, and programs tailored to different learning styles
  • Utilize analytical thinking in assessing process effectiveness and identifying areas for improvement
  • Flexibility to adjust training approaches based on audience needs and business changes
  • Ability to perform and prioritize a variety of analytical tasks with minimum supervision
