BASIC FUNCTION:

 

In this role, you will be responsible for the administration, monitor errors, and analysis to support resolution in relation to digital tools that are critical to our organization's sales processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, a keen eye for process improvement, and the ability to bridge the gap between technology and sales processes.

 

NATURE AND SCOPE:

 

The Sales Digital Operations Analyst will be responsible for ensuring the sales team has proper set up within various platforms, user management within the customer portal, monitor errors and identify reoccurring issues.  The Analyst will work cross-functionally with various teams and play a role in testing new features/functionality within the various sale’s digital portfolio.  The analyst will also play role in documenting requirements and user needs for new features.  The analyst may assist with feature training on an as needed basis.

 

 

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

The Sales Digital Operations Analyst will perform these duties with minimal management validation:

 

  1. Digital Tools Administration: Administer and maintain a suite of digital tools critical to the sales processes.  This includes user access and error handling, EDI error handling and support onboarding new customers, Salesforce
  2. Process Analysis and documentation: Work cross-functionally with Product Owner and business to understand the feature requirement and document the process/requirement as-is/future state to support feature development. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand workflow requirements and pain points.
  3. Training and Support: Provide training to end-users on the effective use of digital tools and updated processes.  Offer ongoing support to address user inquiries, troubleshoot issues, and ensure smooth operations.  Support will extend to customer facing digital tools such as, customer portal and EDI.
  4. Data Analysis and Reporting:  Generate and analyze reports on digital tool usage, process performance, and key metrics. Provide insights and recommendations for further improvements based on data analysis.
  5. Continuous Improvement: Monitor the performance of digital tools and processes, identifying opportunities for refinement. Implement enhancements and optimizations to improve overall workflow efficiency. Proactively address problems or challenges as a result of process breakdown, system gaps or user training

 

  1. Collaboration: Collaborate with Product Owner, Digital Squads, sales users, IT and external vendors to ensure alignment between tools and business processes. Act as a liaison between end-users and technical teams to facilitate effective communication.

 

 

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

 

  • Requires a Bachelor’s degree in business, finance or a related area.
  • 2-4 years of experience in business intelligence, data analysis, marketing analytics or related analytical roles preferred
  • Experience in a process documentation and business requirements gathering
  • Analytical mindset with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficient with common programs (such as PowerPoint, Word and Excel), RPA technology (Robotic Process Automation)
  • Experience with Salesforce, EDI and SAP
  • Time management, critical thinking and problem solving skills are required
  • Strong organizational skills, customer focus, work creatively and analytically to solve day-in and day-out problems
  • Requires proven ability to establish and maintain strong, positive relationships with commercial and operations teams
  • Prior knowledge and experience in manufacturing, steel or steel using industries preferred
