This is your purpose:
We are looking for an HR Generalist to assist in attraction, engagement, development, and retention of our most valuable asset, our People.
You will be responsible for administering HR processes to include:
- HR Policies/Procedures: Administer human resources plans and procedures; assist in development and implementation of personnel policies and procedures; maintain employee handbook and policies and procedures manual.
- Record Keeping: Maintain adequate personnel records for past and present employees.
- HR System Support: Assist employees as needed regarding the timekeeping system, UKG ticket entry for correcting data in systems, verification of employment, Employee Self Service system and other related items.
- Communications: Create and share employee communication to promote employee understanding of programs, policies, and objectives.
- Recruitment & Selection: Work with Talent Acquisition and hiring managers to support in posting requisitions, and onboarding employees once they are selected for a role
- Compensation: Assist in updating and maintaining job descriptions and evaluations, as well as supporting in HR Compensation communications at our location.
- Training and development: Work with corporate training team to implement programs and facilitate training sessions locally when applicable.
- Engagement: Organize employee engagement activities.
- Benefits: Work with Total Rewards on benefits administration and communicating benefits information to employees.
- Performance Management: Assist with performance reviews and performance improvement processes for all employees; ensure consistent application of corporate policies and procedures.
- Career & Succession: Coordinate Career & Succession cycles, local people development committees, 360º degree feedback surveys and competency assessments
- Compliance: Maintain compliance with federal and state regulations concerning employment.
- Perform other related duties as required and assigned.
What you have:
- Bachelor’s Degree required in human resources, business administration, or related field
- 2-3 years of related experience
- Knowledge of principles and practices of HR administration
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- PHR/SPHR preferred but not required
