Category Management Analyst – Indirect Materials

What You’ll Do
- Develop and execute strategic sourcing plans for indirect materials.
- Lead supplier negotiations, contract management, and performance evaluations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve procurement processes.
- Use market intelligence and analytics to reduce supply chain risk and enhance decision-making.
- Manage supplier relationships and lead performance evaluations to ensure high-quality service and reliability.
- Lead the development and execution of Requests for Quotations (RFQs) and Requests for Proposals (RFPs).
- Analyze competitive bids and develop negotiation strategies to secure favorable terms.
- Ensure accurate contract management including pricing, specifications, lead times, and terms.
- Engage with internal customers to understand operational needs and align procurement strategies accordingly.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying cost-saving opportunities and optimizing procurement processes.
Qualification Required
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or business.
- Procurement/Supply Chain certifications preferred.
- 3–5 years of procurement experience in industrial or manufacturing settings.
- Strong skills in project management, strategic planning, and SAP.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical abilities.
- Willingness to travel up to 15%.
