Job Responsibilities:

  • Unloads and stores materials as directed.
  • Work as directed.
  • Maintain housekeeping standards and a safe work environment.
  • Follow ISO policies and practices to strive for zero defects, customer satisfaction, and continuous improvement.  
  • Train in other positions within the department as needed to help fill vacancies such as absences, vacations, etc.  
  • Must be able to work a rotating shift schedule.  (I.e. one week on days, next week on afternoons, next week on overnights; 8 hour shifts)

 

Requirements:

  • HS diploma or equivalent
  • Previous manufacturing experience preferred but not required
  • Reasoning Ability                                                     
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out multi-step instructions.  Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.
  • Physical Demands:  The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to walk and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 35 pounds.  Specific vision abilities required by this job include distance vision, color vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
