COME JOIN OUR TEAM...... We are currently looking for a Routine Facilitator at our Manitoba Mill, Selkirk location

 

Job Summary:

Reporting to the Rolling Mill Superintendent, the primary focus of this role is Quality Control ensuring that routine management efforts are consistently followed while identifying opportunities for improvement in processes, products and productions within the Rolling Mill department. 

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting needs assessments and operational audits
  • Coaching operators and supervisory personnel on production and quality improvement programs 
  • Supporting cost control performance goals
  • Developing preventive maintenance processes
  • Establishing effective safety management procedures
  • Assisting with departmental training efforts

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Strong leadership and team management capabilities 
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
  • 3-5 years of relevant work experience in steel making methods and techniques along with having a solid foundation in basic metallurgy would be considered an asset
