Your Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Business Administration

- 3–5 years of procurement experience in industrial or manufacturing settings

- Experience in CAPEX strategies and strategic sourcing

- Strong background in project management, contract negotiation, and cross-functional collaboration

- SAP proficiency and advanced skills in MS Office Suite

- Professional certification in Procurement or Supply Chain Management (preferred)

- Willingness to travel up to 20%

 

Your Role:

As a Category Procurement Management Analyst, you will support strategic procurement initiatives for internal industrial services across Gerdau North America. You’ll collaborate with procurement and operations teams to implement inventory policies, manage supplier relationships, and drive cost-effective sourcing strategies.

 

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and execute procurement strategies for assigned categories

- Analyze market trends, supplier performance, and cost drivers

- Lead RFQ/RFP processes and negotiate supply agreements

- Monitor and improve supplier performance through stakeholder engagement

- Identify opportunities for cost reduction and process improvement

- Ensure accurate contract management and compliance with procurement policies

- Facilitate cross-functional collaboration and continuous improvement initiatives
