The purpose of this document is to define the job requirements and expectations for an Induction Heat Treat Line Operator.

Safety: Maintain Housekeeping in area. Observe and follow all plant and departmental safety rules and regulations. Maintain a safe work environment. Attend safety meetings. Report/repair any unsafe condition, behavior or equipment.

Practices: Operates all Induction Quench and Temper Lines and Induction Stress Relieve Line. Has the abilities to problem solve heat treat issues. Assures that customer requirements and

specifications are met.

Quality: Prepares and performs testing of samples used in quality check parameters. Ability to operate all testing equipment. Performs verification of all gauging and measurement equipment.

Maintenance: Performs preventative maintenance, trouble shoots and corrects/repairs equipment malfunctions and breakdowns. Has demonstrated general knowledge and practical performance abilities in electricity, welding, pneumatic and heat treat water systems. Assists Maintenance and Engineering where needed.
