POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Primary responsibilities include scheduling and expediting material movements to customers and outside processors.
This job reports directly to the Logistics Planning Expeditor and indirectly to the Logistics Facilitator. This job requires a high school diploma or equivalent with strong organizational, verbal, and written communication skills. This incumbent should also possess a basic understanding of inventory control and shipping.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Responsible for quality inventory maintenance.
- Responsible for scheduling and expediting material movements to the customer.
- Responsible for delivery tracking and monitoring.
- Responsible for scheduling and maintaining Best System Transport.
- Quarterly review evaluation of Level II suppliers (outside processors).
- Observe and follow all general and departmental safety rules and regulations.
- Must follow the Cardinal Safety Rules.
- Responsible for and completing all required annual safety and environmental training.
- Employees are expected to know, understand, and follow all applicable Federal, State, and Local environmental legal requirements and practices.
- Utilization of EMM and GBS concepts.
