Gerdau is a global leader in steel production, and we’re looking for a dedicated Occupational Health Nurse to join our Cartersville team. If you’re passionate about employee wellness, injury prevention, and creating a safer workplace, we want to hear from you!
What You’ll Do
- Manage Workers’ Compensation claims and coordinate return-to-work plans.
- Provide first aid, conduct health screenings, and maintain medical records.
- Collaborate with physicians and safety teams on injury prevention and care.
- Lead wellness initiatives (hydration, ergonomics, health fairs, etc.).
- Train employees in CPR, first aid, and emergency response.
- Support OSHA compliance and maintain medical supply inventory.
What You Bring
- Bachelors Degree in Nursing.
- Active RN license in Georgia.
- 3–5 years of clinical nursing experience.
- Occupational health or safety experience is a plus.
- Strong communication, documentation, and MS Office skills.
