You Have:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredidated university required; areas of study in Business Administration, Finance, Human Resources or a related field preferred.
  • 2-4 years experience in Total Rewards area (health and welfare, retirement/savings plans or compensation) preferred
  • Financial analysis or data analytics experience may apply in lieu of Total Rewards experience. Experience may also include internships or special studies as well.
  • CEBS, HR,or CCP certifications are work towards such is a plus.
  • Experience with union and non-union facilities is a plus.
  • Third Party Administrator experience is a plus.
  • Familiar with best practices, laws, requirements, and regulations impacting the administration of Total Rewards programs and plans.
  • Fundamental knowledge of Total Rewards concepts, practices and procedures and a strong analytical and mathematical aptitude.

  • Ability to analyze large data sets, assess trends or patterns and make recommendations and presentation material based on data (quantitative) and situational factors (qualitative). 
  • Signficant experience with the use of HR systems/relational data bases (SAP experience prefered but not required) and query/report development.
  • MS office proficiency and Advanced Excel skills required.
  • Ability to interpret functional and vendor specifications.
  • Ability to keep abreast of changes in Total Rewards-related laws, requirements, and regulations by participating in workshops, attending seminars, forums, and subscribing to information services.

 

Your Purpose:

This position reports to a Supervisor in Total Rewards/Benefits and is considered a Tampa Office Center of Excellence resource and will support North American customer groups and business units including Tampa Office functional departments, Mills, and Metallics/Raw Materials. You will be responsible for the administration and support of U.S. and Canadian benefits and work-life plans and programs that attract, retain and motivate employees. You will participate in the development, implementation, compliance, administration and communication of Total Rewards programs.

 

Your Work:

  • Assist in management and communication of Total Rewards programs and plans efficiently and accurately administered, in compliance with applicable federal and state regulations and company policy, with a focus on continuous improvement. May include audits, budget work, funding and vendor payments, procedures, distribution of notices and reports and special projects.
  • Partner and work in collaboration with many cross-functional departments such as Payroll, Benefits, HR field and local departments, Recruiting, Career and Succession, Training and Development, etc. on company-wide initiatives and multi-department projects.
  • Ensure constant data integrity with internal systems (ex: SAP), external systems (ex: TR Portal, Benefits Center), vendor file interfaces, etc.
  • Liaison with IT and Shared Services in the development, testing, implementation, and post-production review of all SAP changes and configuration requests related to Total Rewards
